A Nigerian woman has appealed to the public for help locating her 19-year-old sister, who has reportedly been missing for three weeks after leaving home for work in Edo State.
The distressed woman made the appeal in a video circulating on social media, expressing concern over her sister’s continued disappearance and urging Nigerians to assist the family in finding her.
“Nigerians, please come to our rescue. I have been looking for my sister for three weeks now,” she said.
According to her account, the 19-year-old left home for work approximately three weeks ago but has not returned since then. Her prolonged absence has left the family searching for answers as they appeal for information that could help establish her whereabouts.
The circumstances surrounding the young woman’s disappearance remain unclear. Details about the exact date she was last seen, her workplace, the area where she was last sighted and whether the matter has been formally reported to the police were not provided in the information available.
The appeal has drawn attention to the anxiety families experience when a loved one disappears without explanation, particularly when there is no confirmed information about their whereabouts.
The family is asking members of the public to help circulate the appeal and share any credible information that could assist in locating the missing teenager.
Anyone with information about the young woman’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the family or the relevant police authorities.
As of the time of the appeal, there was no confirmed information about what happened to the 19-year-old or whether she had been located. The family continues to seek public assistance in hopes of reuniting with her.
