Completing my high school on August 20th, 2024, I found myself with ample time on my hands, wondering what the future held.

It wasn’t until my dad called me that I began to contemplate my next steps. He inquired about my plans, now that I had finished secondary school.

I didn’t have a clear answer, other than planning on entering the university. He suggested that I acquire some skills to enhance my prospects.

My dad presented me with several options, and after careful consideration, I chose mobile app development. He then provided me with a list of schools to acquire this course, but he strongly recommended Diaspora Digital Media.

After researching the options, I discovered that Digital Media offered several advantages, including free Wi-Fi and opportunities to work with them after completing my studies. These benefits ultimately led me to choose Diaspora Digital Media.

The discussion with my dad took place on September 5th, 2024. Following our conversation, I made plans to enroll in the program.

I and my mom Embarked on the journey of coming to Anambra state, it took us 1 hr 21 min (64.7 km) via Onitsha – Enugu express. We got to Awka by 3:45 PM.

Though I resumed 2 weeks after the resumption date I worked hard to ensure I meet up with the days I missed. Throughout my journey, I remained committed to making the most of the opportunity, ensuring that the investment my dad made in me was worthwhile.

As I reflect on my journey, I realize that this experience has not only equipped me with new skills but has also instilled in me a sense of determination and responsibility. I am grateful for my dad’s guidance and support, which have been instrumental in shaping my path.

Completing my 3 months course at DDM as a Front end web developer, which concluded on the 20th of November 2024. I was advised by my father to stay and take up the Media Training and Capacity Building Workshop which commenced on Monday 25th of December 2024 five days after my front-end course contract termination.

At first to be sincere I never planned to stay I had in mind of travelling back to Enugu on the 29th of November not until I received a call from my Dad urging me to stay for the Program despite my age, that it would be of great help for me since I may be the youngest among both great and wise men and women.

After the call I decided to forfeit my plan of travelling back to Enugu and then decided to stay back to learn from the best.
