Barcelona are set to officially unveil Raphinha’s new contract on Thursday, November 5, with the Brazilian forward committing his future to the Spanish giants until June 30, 2030.

The Catalan club confirmed that the 29-year-old will sign the extension at 12 noon local time in the office of president Joan Laporta before addressing the media at the club’s commercial offices.

The agreement will keep Raphinha at the Spotify Camp Nou for at least another three and a half seasons, extending his previous contract, which was due to expire in 2028, by two additional years.

The renewal comes at a particularly impressive moment in the winger’s Barcelona career, with the Brazilian enjoying one of his most productive campaigns since arriving from Leeds United in 2022.

Raphinha has scored 19 goals in 13 appearances across all competitions during the 2026/27 campaign, including 15 in La Liga and four in the UEFA Champions League.

His latest contribution came on Tuesday night when he scored twice in Barcelona’s 3-0 Champions League victory over Aston Villa, further demonstrating his importance to Hansi Flick’s attacking setup.

The Brazilian has become one of the most influential figures in Flick’s squad, combining his attacking quality with relentless pressing, defensive commitment and leadership.

His performances have also strengthened his place in Barcelona’s history. With 190 appearances, Raphinha is now the fourth Brazilian player with the most matches for the club. His 94 goals also place him fourth among Brazilian goalscorers in Barcelona’s history.

Since joining from Leeds United in 2022, the forward has developed into a key figure at the Spanish club, overcoming periods of inconsistency and competition for places to establish himself as one of the team’s leading attacking options.

His importance has increased further following his appointment as first-team captain, reflecting the confidence placed in him by the club’s management and coaching staff.

Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, had reached an agreement in principle with the Brazilian in September, with both parties subsequently completing the necessary contractual arrangements ahead of Thursday’s official ceremony.

The renewal is another indication of Barcelona’s desire to maintain the core of Flick’s squad as the club continues to pursue domestic and European success.

For Raphinha, the new agreement offers stability at a club where he has enjoyed a remarkable rise, while Barcelona will retain the services of one of their most productive players for the foreseeable future.
