Di report for news remember say di ruling party for di state lose to candidates of di Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for di local government election wey dem conduct for di state.

Otti, for interview wey him do, wen dem ask am how e dey feel about Governor Otti wey dey ask him supporters make dem vote for any candidate wey dem believe go fit deliver good governance, him talk say, “First, make I correct one impression.

Dr Alex Otti, di Governor of Abia State, no fit and no go fit authorise him supporters (make dem contest under different party), sabi say e be member of di Labour Party, and e be di governor of Abia State and leader of di LP for Abia State and Naija.

“Therefore, e no fit and e no go fit give im supporters make dem go another party, whether to promote or to contest.

Instead, e talk say di pipo wey go vote suppose vote for any candidate wey dem like, wey dem believe go fit deliver, and wey dem get di constitutional right to do am.

Otti vote for candidate wey e like for di election, and e sabi say di pesin wey e vote go deliver. I, as state LP chairman, vote for candidates wey I like.”

“Dis one be like family mata, you get five women, and you no go choose husband for dem, but make dem go choose di husband wey dem like. Na dem constitutional right to do am.

“So, if di governor tell di pipo say ‘vote any candidate wey you like,’ wey you sabi go follow di same page, di page of development, di page of taking care of di welfare and security of di pipo for their different areas, wey be di grassroots, e no do anything wey no normal.”

Dis na because di pipo wey dey grassroots sabi di contestants and di contestants sabi di pipo, no mata di political party wey di contestants belong.
