President Donald Trump vowed to officially bring an end to the transgender madness

Donald Trump, the incoming U.S. president, is scheduled to be sentenced on January 10, 2025.

Diaspora digital media (DDM) gathered that the sentencing is tied to a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

The payment was allegedly intended to silence claims of an affair between Daniels and Trump.

Trump has denied the affair and continues to dispute the allegations.

This case marks the first time a U.S. president, past or present, has faced a criminal conviction.

Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records related to the $130,000 payment.

The payment was made before the 2016 presidential election by Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen.

Justice Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the case, rejected Trump’s motion to dismiss it.

Trump’s legal team argued that his position as President-elect should exempt him from prosecution.

The judge ruled that no one is above the law, regardless of their political status.

Justice Merchan emphasized that dismissing the case would undermine the rule of law.

The judge stated that Trump could attend the sentencing in person or virtually.

The sentencing was originally scheduled for November 26, 2024, but it was postponed.

The delay followed Trump’s election victory to allow proper consideration of the case.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg proposed alternatives to minimize disruptions.

These alternatives included postponing the sentencing until after Trump’s presidency.

Another proposal involved ensuring the sentence would not include prison time.

Justice Merchan suggested an “unconditional discharge” might be appropriate.

This would mean Trump would face no imprisonment, fines, or probation.

Trump’s legal team claimed the case could interfere with his presidential duties.

The judge countered that justice and accountability must take precedence over convenience.

This case is one of several legal challenges Trump is currently facing.

He is also charged in cases involving classified documents and election interference.

Two cases are tied to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

In Georgia, Trump faces unresolved accusations of election interference.

Trump has pleaded not guilty in all cases, calling them politically motivated.

He claims the charges are designed to harm his campaign and reputation.

The January 10 sentencing will occur just 10 days before his inauguration.

This highlights the unprecedented legal challenges surrounding Trump’s return to power.

The case raises significant questions about accountability for high-ranking officials.

It stands as a historic moment in U.S. legal and political history.
