IMO: Owerri Zone will continue to support Gov. Uzodinma in the next three years – Charlvon

The people of Owerri Zone comprising of nine local government areas have agreed to be supporting Governor Hope Uzodinma in the next three years of his administration.

The leader of the Owerri Zone Political Forum OZOPOLF, Charles Amadi has stated during the night of celebration and thanksgiving for the love the governor has for Owerri zone people.

Don Martin L.O.Nwosu Media Director OZOPOLF stated this in a Press release of February 16th 2025.

He states: “It was a night of total celebration and thanksgiving to God for the gift of our amiable Governor, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma for the love and confidence he has on the people of Owerri zone in his administration.

The celebration in honour of His Excellency took place at the residence of the operational leader of Owerri zone and the National Leader of OZOPOLF, Prince Charls Amadi with appointees, leaders, business Moguls and friends of the Governor coming from the three senatorial zones of the State (Orlu, Owerri And Okigwe).

The highpoint of the celebration was the official presentation of the newly appointees of the Governor from the zone;

Bar. Kingsley Ononuju Ekwedashike (Chairman of IROMA)

Ezinwa Chucks Metuh (Board Secretary IMSUBEB)

Hon. Anyaehie Okameme (Member Representing Owerri Zone in IMSUTH)

Hon. Eddy Obinna
(Member Representing Owerri Zone in IMSUBEB)

Chief Val Okere (Amadioha Ngor Okpala) (Member Representing Owerri Zone in ISOPADEC )

Hon. Sam Anukam (Commissioner Rep Owerri Zone, Local Government Service Commission)

In his address, the host Prince Charls Amadi extol the magnanimous gesture of the Governor to the zone and assures him of an unreserved support from people and leaders of the zone.

Prince Charls Amadi did not reserve his displeasure with those in the zone causing confusion and distraction to the administration of the Governor and advised them in their own best interest to desist from such political distractions and join hands to work for the success of the Government.

He totally disassociated the zone and it’s leaders from such distractions especially coming from Ngor-Okpala and urged the leaders from the local government to tell those involved to see the developmental strides of His Excellency in the zone and join hands with him to give the Governor maximum accolades rather than distracting him.

The Operational leader warned to resist any negative attempt(s) by anyone in Owerri Zone that will make His Excellency lose confidence in the zone.

The leader of Orlu People’s Consultative Assembly Supreme High Commander and Honourable commissioner For Commerce and Industry, Hon. Chief Rex Anunobi (Sokom) appreciated Prince Charls Amadi for his constant and physical support to the Governor since the inception of this administration and the sustained synergy between OPOCA and OZOPOLF which has lasted for years and encouraged him not to relent in his support, he promised to give his own support to the zone at the right time.

Other leaders like;Prince Marcon Nlemigbo, Okenze S.I Obinna, Chief Batos Nwadike, Chief Emenike and many others expressed satisfaction with what Owerri Zone leaders are doing to support the government which they said is so glaring for even the blind to see.

They urged Prince Charls Amadi not to be deterred by the distractions especially coming from the zone.
