Almizan Chapel NUJ Kaduna Council Inaugurates New Excos

A new set of executive officers to lead the Al-Mizan Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Kaduna Council has been inaugurated.

A consensus was reached that led to the emergence of Abdullahi Usman Tumburkai of Dillaliya newspaper under the Almizan Chapel as Chairman with Malam Bello Hamza of Pointer Express newspaper also under the Almizan as his Vice.

Abdulmumin Giwa of Pointer Express newspaper emerged as Secretary of the chapel with Mukhtar Zailani as his assistant while Aliyu Sale of Almizan newspaper was sworn-in as the treasurer.

Other excos include Abdullahi Ricifa and Ammar Rajab both of Almizan newspaper as Auditor and Financial Secretary respectively.    

Shortly before the inauguration, the representative of the NUJ Kaduna State Council and also its Financial Secretary, John Femi Adi congratulated the new Excos

 He described the Almizan chapel as a peaceful one.

Femi called on the chapel to support the NUJ by participating actively in the State Executive Council activities as well as imbibing the culture of unity and oneness of the union.

The newly inaugurated Chairman of the Almizan chapel, Abdullahi Tumburkai expressed gratitude for the support by the State Council and promised to continue to support the NUJ.
