Wike speaks on alleged secret allocation of 2,000 hectares to son

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has denied allegations of secretly allocating over 2,000 hectares of land in Maitama and Asokoro to his son.
The allegations claimed Wike awarded the land through JOAQ Farms and Estate Limited, a company linked to his family.
Wike’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka, dismissed the report by the Peoples Gazette as baseless and false.
Olayinka stated that no land had been allocated to Wike’s children and questioned the credibility of the report.
The spokesman clarified that JOAQ Farms and Estate Limited received a Right of Occupancy for agricultural land in Bwari Area Council, not in Maitama or Asokoro.
Olayinka urged the general public to disregard the report, describing it as part of a coordinated effort to damage Wike’s reputation.
