Prophet Ebuka Obi in maintain Sinai, Egypt

Mount Sinai, Egypt – Popular Lagos-based preacher and spiritual revivalist, Evangelist Ebuka Obi, has officially declared the commencement of a 100-day fasting and prayer programme under the auspices of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO).

Mount Sinai is located in the Sinai Peninsula, which is part of Egypt. Specifically, it is a granitic peak in the south-central region of the peninsula, within the Janūb Sīnāʾ (South Sinai) Governorate.

The mountain is revered in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions as the sacred site where Moses received the Ten Commandments from God.

The spiritual campaign, which begins on Friday, July 5, 2025, is themed “100 Days of Divine Speed” and is expected to draw thousands of faithful from within and outside Nigeria, both online and at the physical venue in Lagos.

The declaration was made live from Mount Sinai, the biblical prayer mountain associated with Moses and the Ten Commandments.

Evangelist Obi announced that the fasting period would serve as a time of divine acceleration, spiritual alignment, and supernatural transformation.

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) reports that the 100-day spiritual journey has become an annual tradition for Zionites and followers of Evangelist Obi, whose prophetic ministry is widely known for its emphasis on holiness, instant prophetic declarations, and intensive warfare prayers.

While addressing the crowd during the live announcement, Evangelist Obi described the 100-day programme as “a season to seek the face of God, unlock divine speed, and reposition lives according to God’s will.”

“This is not just a ritual,” he declared. “This is a prophetic journey, a season to align with God’s voice, to break barriers, to reclaim lost grounds, and to open doors that only heaven can open,” he added to thunderous chants of “Amen” from his followers.

The Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, headquartered in Lagos, has grown rapidly in recent years due to its weekly revival programmes, nights of open heaven encounters, and mass deliverance sessions.

The ministry also commands a robust digital presence, with thousands tuning in to live broadcasts on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.

Evangelist Obi, fondly called “Prophet Ebuka of Zion” by his followers, is described by many as a fiery preacher who emphasizes spiritual discipline, deep repentance, and the visible demonstration of God’s power.

His meetings are often marked by prophetic revelations with instant solution, spontaneous miracles, and intense worship.

The 100-day fasting programme is open to all believers, regardless of denomination.

It is structured with daily prophetic instructions, scriptural meditations, and midnight intercessory prayers.

The ministry has urged participants to prepare for a season of spiritual renewal, promising encounters such as divine healing, financial breakthroughs, and the restoration of lost destinies as the fast progresses over the next three months.

“This season is about divine speed,” Evangelist Obi emphasized. “We are stepping into realms where one year’s blessings will be compressed into one month.

If you are ready to see God move, then this fast is your ladder.”

To support participants, ZPMO has released a digital fasting guide and daily prayer bulletins through its official platforms, encouraging those unable to attend in person to join remotely and still benefit fully from the spiritual experience.

DDM will provide continuous coverage of the major events throughout the 100-day fasting season and will document notable testimonies and spiritual encounters reported by participants worldwide.
