Hamas Will Pay for Turning Israeli Hostage Into ‘Living Skeleton’ — Netanyahu Vows

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu exploded with anger after Hamas released a disturbing propaganda video showing an Israeli hostage, Yossi Sharabi, in a horrifying state.

The video, aired this week, portrayed Sharabi emaciated, frightened, and forced to dig what appears to be his own grave while in captivity.

Netanyahu condemned the video as proof of Hamas’ extreme brutality, comparing their tactics to Nazi-like cruelty.

He declared, “They starved him, tortured him, and made him dig his own grave while filming it. This is a shocking testament to the evil we are dealing with.

His reaction followed widespread outrage across Israel and among global human rights observers.

The footage, which circulated on pro-Hamas Telegram channels, shows Sharabi barely able to stand, speaking faintly as he digs.

Hamas claimed the act was part of a “psychological war” against Israel. Yet Israeli officials insisted that the video only confirms Hamas’ barbarism and disregard for human dignity.

Sharabi, one of the 253 hostages abducted during Hamas’s October 7 cross-border assault, was previously reported dead by the terror group.

However, the Israeli military has not confirmed his death. His family, who had hoped he might still be alive, now demand answers and justice.

Netanyahu used the video as further justification for continuing Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.

He stated, “This is why we will not stop. We must defeat Hamas. The world must see what they are.” He urged international leaders to condemn the video and the terror tactics employed by Hamas.

Moreover, Israeli Defense Forces pledged to intensify efforts to locate all hostages and bring them home.

This renewed urgency comes after several failed negotiations and stalled ceasefire talks.

Human rights advocates have also weighed in, calling the video a violation of international law and an act of psychological torture.

They called on the United Nations and the Red Cross to demand accountability from Hamas.

As public emotion boils over, many in Israel say the footage marks a new low in the ongoing war.

The image of a man reduced to a “living skeleton” now fuels the country’s resolve to press on, no matter the cost.
