A passenger train from Kaduna to Abuja has crushed a woman to death at Kubwa area of Abuja on Thursday.
She was said to be trying to cross the rail track with her car, while the train was close by at about 10.00am.
A spokesperson of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Mahmood Yakoob, confirmed the incident to journalists but could provide details.
A video of the unfortunate incident in circulation on social media showed that the train crushed a black Toyota Camry from the driver’s side while the vehicle was crossing the rail track, on Thursday.
