Adamawa NYSC To Host 1st Training Camp Post-Boko haram 

The Adamawa state Coordinator of National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Alh. Abubakar Mohammed assured our correspondent that the state unit of NYSC scheme are to resume holding her three batches of training the Corps member in the state again.

Mohammed, given out the background story stated that, the activities of Boko Haram insurgents threatened the official of the scheme to relocate the camp to other state.

According to him, he was barely three months in the state but took it upon himself after much consultations with security agencies to resume having the orientation in the state. Untill he received an assurance of peace and tranquility in virtually  all the Local Governments.

He commented the Leadership of Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, the Executive Governor of the State for allocating the State’s own Polytechnic (SPY,) to hold the next batch orientation camp which is in Yola,the state Capital.

Abubakar also added that 647 Corps members were successfully passed out from the stream 2 of  batch B 2015/2016 NYSC scheme, while 7 Members got awards out of them 3 received Governorship award and 4 received recommendation letter.

“Nine (9) Corp members were however received various disciplinary which was decided against them as it is enshrined by the constitution of the NYSC schema, ranging from one to two months extension. ” He  said
