ADC Enugu North Holds Stakeholders’ Meeting, Reaffirms Leadership and Membership Integrity

(DDM) – The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Enugu North Senatorial Zone convened an enlarged stakeholders’ meeting on Wednesday, 7th January 2026, at its Zonal Secretariat on Ogurugu Road, Nsukka.

DDM gathered that the meeting was well attended, bringing together party leaders, stakeholders, and members committed to strengthening the party’s structure in Enugu North and the wider Enugu State.

The meeting was chaired by the Zonal Chairman, Hon. Kingsley Acharabuagu, who led deliberations on key issues vital to the growth, unity, and credibility of ADC in the senatorial zone.

Discussions focused on party consolidation, membership registration, leadership integrity, and strategies to position ADC as a credible political alternative.

One of the resolutions adopted emphasized that the ADC Enugu North Senatorial Zone remains open to new members through official membership registration.

The party declared its dissociation from individuals claiming leadership positions in the zone without proper registration or constitutional recognition.

Officials highlighted that some self-styled leaders have formed unofficial cabals intending to displace duly elected and registered officials in wards, local government areas, and at the state level.

The meeting reiterated that ADC’s strength lies in responsible coalition-building, not through conspiracies aimed at dividing the party.

Stakeholders insisted that new members must identify their political wards and complete proper membership registration to qualify for party positions or elective offices.

The Zonal Secretariat underscored that constitutional compliance is mandatory for participation in all ADC activities, elections, and leadership positions.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the unanimous vote of confidence passed on Hon. Kingsley Acharabuagu for his astute, proactive, and visionary leadership in the zone.
