Osogbo, Osun State – February 12, 2025 – Governor Ademola Adeleke has reaffirmed his administration’s strong commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible local government elections.
The upcoming elections will take place on February 22, 2025, and voters eagerly anticipate these significant events ahead.
In a statement released today, the Governor reassured stakeholders, emphasizing that the state government will not interfere in the electoral process.
He highlighted the independence of the Osun State Electoral Commission, which plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency.
Furthermore, Governor Adeleke commended the peaceful conduct of campaigns by various political parties, encouraging a positive electoral atmosphere.
He urged candidates to focus on presenting their agendas clearly to the electorate, fostering informed decision-making among voters.
“As government, we remain committed to ensuring free and fair elections. We respect the independence of the electoral commission,” he stated.
