Mbaka came into the villa in a private maroon BMW car accompanied by a lady.
The outcome of the meeting between President Buhari and Mbaka, which lasted about 35 minutes, is yet to become public.
After the meeting, Mbaka did not speak to newsmen.
Mbaka was recently quoted in social media as calling on Buhari to effect changes in his leadership style to cushion the hardships experienced by citizens.
He said: “President Buhari is change, but former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is `bureau de change’.”
Also he was quoted as calling on Buhari to “change or you will be changed” while addressing members of his Adoration Ministry.
Meanwhile, Mbaka, during one of his sermons, predicted electoral victory for the president in the forthcoming general elections as he did in 2015.

Controversial Catholic Priest, Ejike Mbaka, again on Monday, met President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
