The former Governor of Kogi State, Mr Yahaya Bello, has again honoured the invitation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged misappropriation of funds.
A statement by his media office confirmed that Mr Bello on Tuesday morning visited the commission, following the Supreme Court verdict which dismissed states’ case on the constitutionality of the anti-graft agency.
He arrived at the commission’s headquarters in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by his legal team.
Meanwhile, the allegations against Bello center on the alleged misuse of funds belonging to the Kogi State Government, raising concerns over financial accountability during his administration.
As the anti-graft agency continues its probe, the case underscores the commission’s efforts to hold public officials accountable for their actions while in office.
