The House of Representatives has once again directed the Inspector General of Police to seal the Kogi State House of Assembly complex.
The House is to remain pending until and when the crisis is resolved.
This is one of the resolutions adopted by the House after considering the report of its Adhoc Committee.
The Committee investigated a declaration by the Attorney General of the Federation on the resolution of the National Assembly on the crisis.
In the declaration, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General [AGF], Abubakar Malami had advised the Inspector General of Police to reject the resolution of the National Assembly.
He said the resolution of the National Assembly to take over the duties of the Kogi State House of Assembly is illegal.
The House is also demanding that the Attorney General of the Federation and the Inspector General be reprimanded for undermining the authority of the legislature.
The House has also directed that the Attorney General of the Federation should immediately withdraw his advice to the Inspector General of Police.
The Kogi State House of Assembly has been embroiled in various crises which led to the impeachment of the speaker, as well as other issues.
Consequently, the House was ordered sealed by the Speaker of House of representative, Yakubu Dogara.
