Amaewhule slams exploiters draining paper from Rivers State, claims they can’t topple its leadership

Martins Amaewhule, the Majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, has voiced concerns about individuals draining paper from the state’s resources.

In a statement on January 5, 2025, as gathered by Diaspora digital media DDM Amaewhule highlighted those who are draining paper from the state’s wealth, yet he claimed they lack the power to bring down Rivers State’s leadership.

Amaewhule criticized these individuals for trying to undermine the state’s stability for personal gain, focusing on draining paper from its resources.

He stated that these individuals are exploiting Rivers State from “every angle” and draining paper without considering the long-term consequences.

Despite these actions, Amaewhule expressed confidence that the perpetrators cannot destabilize the state or its leadership, even as they continue draining paper.

He emphasized that, despite their efforts, they cannot overpower the political establishment of Rivers State, which remains resilient in the face of draining paper.

He argued that those draining paper from Rivers State are not interested in its progress but are instead engaged in self-serving tactics to weaken the administration.

Amaewhule emphasized that Wike’s positive influence on the state’s infrastructure, governance, and well-being stands in stark contrast to the draining paper actions of current exploiters.

Amaewhule made it clear that the current leadership is resilient and unshakable, despite efforts to destabilize the state through the activities.
