Ambassadorial Screening: Nominees couldn't recite Anthem, Pledge

The screening of Ambassadorial nominees on Tuesday took a dramatic turn as both Anambra and Niger states nominees couldn’t recite the National Anthem and pledge properly.

 The envoy nominees are Alhaji Ibrahim Bida, from Niger state and Vivian Nwunaku Okeke from Anambra.

At the screening of the envoy nominees the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, asked the nominee from Anambra State to recite the national anthem.

She, however, failed to recite it properly.

Also, when it was turn for nominee from Niger state, the chairman asked him  to recite the National Pledge , he mixed it up too.

It took the intervention of Senator James Manager who was among the panel for who completed National Anthem for Niger state nominee.
