Anambra 2025: ADC’s Acceptability Soars, Continues Community Tour

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has stated that testimonies from residents of Anambra State shows that its recent community tours are making impact.

The party said that it is making steady inroads of acceptability as the November 8, 2025, governorship election fast approaches.

Political observers note that this is as a result of the community tour which the party has continued without letup.

A party faithful who spoke with Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Mr. Ikechukwu Augustine Obah, the party candidates, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu and his running mate, Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu.

Mr. Obah noted that Anambra residents, both at home and in the diaspora, are determined to vote out the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

That, he said, has led to the growing acceptance of ADC.

Obah attributed this to “the poor leadership of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo” over the past 43 months.

He said: “It has become public knowledge that Ndi Anambra, both within the state and in the diaspora, are determined to vote out the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) on November 8.

“[this is] following the poor leadership of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

“[His] administration has been marked by pain, empty rhetoric, and regression over the past 43 months.

“The fears of APGA, Governor Soludo, and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, are apparent as they resort to desperate measures to suppress the will of the people.

“[They are] publicly promising to use state funds to induce voters, a move that many, including the international community, have widely criticized.”is making impact

“Overwhelming support for ADC”

Obah, however, emphasised that Anambra people are “resolute in reclaiming their state by voting for the African Democratic Congress (ADC)”.

According to him, the “overwhelming support for the ADC stems from the strong leadership qualities exhibited by the party’s candidates, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu and Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu”.

He observed that they have positively impacted and empowered countless sons and daughters of Anambra State throughout their careers.

Obah summed it up by quoting the words of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who once stated: “Mere good governance is not enough; it must be pro-people and proactive.”

“The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is the only party committed to ensuring that the true dividends of democracy reach the people who elect them come November 8,” he added.
