Anambra 2025: John Nwosu Takes Campaign To Markets, Shops, Doorsteps, As Indices Show Sharp Rise In Acceptability Of ADC Among Elites, Political Class, Masses

As the build-up to the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election gains momentum, recent indices have shown a sharp rise in acceptability of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its candidate, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu (JCN), and his running mate, Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu (GNN), among the elites, political class, and the masses in general.

Observers attributed the recent surge to Mr. Nwosu’s drive that took the campaign to people’s markets, shops, and doorsteps.

One such indices noted that as November 8 approaches, there is growing tension among candidates contesting for the governorship election, following the momentum and widespread acceptance of the joint candidacy of Nwosu and Nwobu in the state.

Recent feedback from the streets, marketplaces, and religious centers highlights the positive sentiments towards the African Democratic Congress (ADC) campaign council as they engage in extensive outreach.

Many enthusiastic Anambra residents interviewed believe that the joint ticket of Nwosu and Nwobu is distinguished by experience, vision, strong character, political ingenuity, and dedication.

Also noteworthy is the fact that both Nwosu and Nwobu have served commendably in numerous leadership positions throughout their careers.

Their antecedents speak volumes, as they have elevated the offices they previously held to higher standards.

Political pundits observed that the continued praise from Ndi Anambra comes as no surprise to those who have crossed paths with the candidate and his running mate.

One such pundit interviewed by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Mr. Ikechukwu Augustine Obah, noted that strong support spells favour for the Nwosu/Nwobu joint ticket.

Obah said: “It indicates that voting for the African Democratic Congress on November 8 will undoubtedly revitalize our state from its precarious situation to one of sustainable stability.

“With such widespread support for ADC, there is indeed a brighter light at the end of the tunnel,” he added.
