Anambra Guber: Chike Obidigbo Swiftly Denies Dumping APC

An Anambra State governorship aspirant under the umbrella of the All progressives Congress [APC], Dr Chike Obidigbo has denied the report that he is set to dump the party.

Elombah.com earlier reported that some aspirants in the forthcoming Anambra State governorship election under the auspices of APC want to dump the party over some inexplicable 10 million Naira levy imposed on them by the party.

Upon further inquiry, it was discovered that the aggrieved members want to dump the party over some inexplicable 10 million Naira levy imposed on them by the party over the weekend.

In a swift response, a spokesperson from the camp of Dr Obidigbo, Mr Eneh Victor Chigozie said that his boss is not nurturing such an idea which he termed “useless”.

He said that the rumour is emanating from the camp of the jittery Governor Willie Obiano who is fast losing the center-hold in Anambra State due to poor governance.

In the words of Mr Eneh, “They have been trying to say something but to no avail.

“Obidigbo has become their biggest threat to November election and they are concocting all manner of falsehood against him.

“Just ignore them; Chike Obidigbo is projected to pick APC ticket and defeat Obiano on November election,” he concluded.
