Former Anambra State governor, Mr Peter Obi has declared the state moribund, dead under the administration of his successor, Mr Willie Obiano.

Mr Obi said this in a video chat with Elombah.com over the weekend at his residence in Onitsha, Anambra State.

He expressed deep concern that a state that used to be first in education, road networks, low debt profile, etc. cannot be rated among the first seven in the mentioned areas.

He said what Ndi Anambra get instead is a cacophony of lies and propaganda, ranging from a phantom $5 million “Ugu” export to an airport that exists only on billboard.

He, therefore, urged Ndi Anambra to do the needful and vote the incumbent governor, Mr Obiano, out of office come November 18.

He also expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] candidate for the Anambra governorship election, Mr Oseloka Obaze will pull the state out of the woods.

When Elombah.com demanded his source of confidence, he stated that Mr Obaze was part of his success story as he served during his tenure as the Secretary to the State Government [SSG].
