Anambra Vigilante: Activist—Paul Njoku Accuses Soludo Of Breeding Terrorists

A human rights activist and author, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has accused the Anambra State governor, Professor Charles Soludo, of breeding terrorists in Anambra state.
Njoku made the remarks while reacting to a viral video which showed how armed men of operatives of Operation Udo Ga-Achi, also known as the Agunechemba Vigilante Group, stormed a corps members’ lodge in Anambra State.
The marauding band assaulted a female corps member identified as Jennifer Edema Elohor and some of her colleagues.
The video, which was shared by the Haven 360 Foundation on Facebook on Monday, showed the victim, Elohor, beaten and stripped naked by men wielding guns.
Reacting, Njoku observed that the state of organised insecurity and human rights abuses by the Anambra Vigilante group is ruthless.
The rights activist fumed that the victims were brutalised and degraded to sexually inhuman level.
It was gathered that Operation Udo Ga-Achi Vigilante group, accused the corps members of being ‘yahoo people’ and descended on them despite producing their NYSC identity cards.
A female corps member, Jennifer Edema Elohor, was beaten, stripped naked and left exposed and covered in blood.
Other victims were reportedly subjected to horrible violations.
In a statement sent to Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) newsroom, activist Paul wrote:
“Anambra State governor, Professor Charles Soludo, is breeding terrorists in the state by his executive rascality and ill conduct.
“He is not governing the state like an educated fellow.
“There is an organised insecurity and human rights abuses by the Anambra Udo Ga-Achi Vigilante group, notorious of ruthless and deadly activities in the Soludo-led administration.
“It is unacceptable that the Soludo’s armed men stormed a corps members’ lodge in the State, naked and assaulted a female corps member identified as Jennifer Edema Elohor and some of her colleagues with grass impunity.
“There should be total adherence to the rule of law.
“I deeply condemn the ruthless human rights abuses and terror assault and violation of the dignity of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members by the indecent and uninformed operatives of Operation Udo Ga-Achi Vigilante Group.
“Governor Soludo should disband the barbaric group, openly prosecute and mete out justice to the victims,” he concluded.
