Former Real Madrid ace and Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo says, Argentine and PSG football maestro, Lionel Messi doesn’t deserve to win the seventh Ballon D’or
On Monday night, Lionel Messi was crowned the best player of the year after beating Lawandoski, Kante, Jorginho and other favourites for the award.
Reacting to the seventh Ballon D’or awarded to Messi by the football governing body (FIFA), Ronaldo said that the Argentine player who only won Copa del Rey with Barcelona and never scored in any semi-final, doesn’t deserve the award
He maintained that the former Barcelona hitman doesn’t deserve it considering the fact that he dissapeared in crucial matches and coupled with his weak season at his new club, Paris Saint German
Cristiano however described the decision of the Football Governing Body (FIFA) as “Theft. Dirt. Shame and Simply regrettable”
He said, “And who does the prize go to? For Messi, who only won the Copa del Rey by Barcelona, he hasn’t scored a goal against Real Madrid since when Cristiano left, disappeared in the big games of the season, won the Copa America that was supposed to be every 4 years and do practically every year. He didn’t score in the final or in the semi-final. And he’s been having a weak season with PSG individually.

“Who saw, saw. Anyone who is smart enough knows who the real deserving ones are.
“Regardless of these awards, the CR7 will always be the best in history!”
