Any Christian who votes for Tinubu after 7 yrs of Christian persecution in Northern Nigeria is a fool — Femi Aribisala

Nigerian Pastor and international affairs expert, Femi Aribisala has berated the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Bola Tinubu over the choice of the party’s Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.

Aribisala in a series of post made on his official Facebook page, said that a Bola Tinubu presidency after Buhari will simply be a continuation of 8 years of the worst government in the history of Nigeria.

He also described Tinubu’s VP choice as an insult to Nigerians.

Aribisala further stressed that Tinubu insulted Northern Moslems by concluding they would never vote for a Northern Christian.

Describing Tinubu as too arrogant, Aribisala however noted that the presidential candidate of APC needs to be told that Muslim Tinubu will not be voted for by Southern Christians.

The statement reads, “Tinubu is APC. Buhari is APC. A Tinubu presidency after Buhari will simply be a continuation of 8 years of the worst government in the history of Nigeria. It is not Tinubu’s turn. It is Nigeria’s turn.

“If according to Tinubu’s distorted calculus, a Northern Christian will not be voted for by Northern Muslims, then Tinubu needs to be told that Muslim Tinubu will not be voted for by Southern Christians.

“Tinubu’s VP choice is an insult to Nigerians. He insults Northern Moslems by concluding they would never vote for a Northern Christian. If so, he insults Northern Christians by implying they can never be elected president of Nigeria.

“Tinubu is too arrogant. He is contemptuous of Christians. He is convinced he can win the election in 2023 without Christians. He cannot. Any Christian who votes for Tinubu after 7 years of Christian persecution in Northern Nigeria is a fool. No Christian should vote for Tinubu.”
