UPDATE FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT
In abuse of democracy and social justice, the ruling party(APC) connived with the INEC personnel in transfer of elections result of Gamawa and Zaki local government areas of Bauchi north to Bauchi South which is a clear violation of electoral act (moving unannounced result from one senatorial zone to another) to feather their own nest.
On elections day elections materials were not provided till around 4-5pm (on oppositions strong holds) until after the interventions of Local Government DPO.
Pictures attached showing Masses yelling at Katagum Local government’s DPO. The elections were terminated in not more than 3-4 hours. Less than 20% of electorates cast their votes.
“Nigerians should know how desperate the ruling party are, and how our democracy is misconceived”, lamented a voter from from LGA.
