APC Takes Over PDP In Enugu

Published

on

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) office in Enugu State, has been taken over by the  All Progressives Congress (APC), according to report from The Punch.

The said office building is on Chime Lane, a street in the GRA part of the Enugu metropolis. The building had served as PDP secretariat for several years.

The building has now been taken over by APC, which is now serving as its office.

The building now has been decorated with APC insignia such as Flags, posters, banners, billboards and other paraphernalia.

It is believed that the development followed the defection of the former governor of the state Sullivan Chime. The building now adorned such insignia as  ‘All Progressives Congress, Change Has Come.’

Chime, who served as the governor of Enugu State on the platform of the PDP from 2007 to 2015, recently joined the APC after pronouncing the PDP ‘dead and buried.’.

Unanimous correspondence hinted that the building actually belonged to Sullivan Chima, hence the quick change over.
