APC won’t escape defeat in 2027 — Dalung

Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, has expressed confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will be defeated in the 2027 general elections, citing the deteriorating political and economic climate under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Dalung stated that the APC will lose the 2027 elections, regardless of strategic appointments, saying, “Even if Tinubu appoints his son as INEC chairman and wife as CJN, APC will be defeated in 2027.”

He attributed the APC’s potential defeat to the growing divide between the government and the people, describing it as “we versus them.”

Dalung cited widespread hardship and systemic injustice as evidence of the government’s failure.

He accused the government of launching a campaign against the Nigerian populace, weaponizing poverty, hunger, and corruption.

Dalung urged Nigerians to align with the coalition movement to confront the government in 2027.

He emphasized the need for Nigerians to reposition themselves to challenge the government’s policies.

Dalung described the APC as a “conclave of sinners” that offers sanctuary to politicians seeking to evade accountability.

He warned that the growing number of defections into the APC might lead to internal collapse due to a lack of shared ideology.
