*Dismisses appeal filed by Adegboyega Isiaka of PDP

The Election Tribunal Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has upheld the election of Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.

The Court dismissed the appeal filed by Mr. Adegboyega Isiaka of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP].

Mr. Isiaka had prayed the court to nullify the election of Governor Amosun on the grounds of election malpractice and irregularities.

The Court, however, upheld the decision of the Tribunal in an earlier ruling adjudging the election of Amosun as free and square.

Mr. Isiaka has not declared any intention of appealing the case to the Supreme Court.
