…set to address international press conference
The Arewa Media Influencers, an amalgamation of all media influencers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the 19 Northern states including FCT, have dissociated itself from Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign activities until further notice.
This was confirmed in a statement jointly signed by Rabi’u Ali, the chairman of the group and it’s secretary, Khalid Ibrahim
Though, no reason was given for the sudden decision but the group said it will address international press conference in respect to the development.
Part of the statement reads, “The aforementioned group, which is an amalgamation of all media influencers of the ruling party (APC) from the 19 Northern states and FCT has resolved to dissociate itself from the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign activities until further notice.
“The announcement was made today the 21st of November 2022 after a brief emergency meeting in Kano State.
“The group also wishes to inform the general public that it will soon address international press conference in this regard.”
