The Arewa Youth Federation (AYF) has challenged Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, to prove that he was attacked by Fulani herdsmen on Saturday.
AYF President, Adamu Kabir Matazu, said, “We have seen attacks even against governors like was seen in the Boko Haram attack on Borno Governor Babagana Zulum and there was evidence.
“But Ortom did not provide any evidence. Criminals come from all segments of the society and there was not any evidence that he was attacked let alone by Fulani herdsmen”.
Recall that Benue governor, Samuel Ortom’s convoy was attacked on Saturday, March 20, 2021, by suspected herdsmen.
It was gathered the Suspected herders rained many bullets on the gov’s convoy in an attempt to assassinate him.
