Operatives of the Nigerian Army have shot to death a member of a vigilante group in Edo State on Tuesday.

 According to reports, the soldiers shot and killed the vigilante in Benin named Igbinovia and released the killer Fulani herdsmen they had arrested and were about taking to the police.

Trouble started when the vigilante group disarmed and apprehended some armed Fulani herdsmen whom they adjudged to be a terrorist.

Reports further said that the soldiers shot the herdsman and freed the terrorist.

When asked why they killed the vigilante they said it was a mistake. 

Elombah.com gathered that the particular soldier that shot the vigilante is himself a Fulani.

Reacting to the development, former Minister of Aviation told Elombah.com: “I am watching CNN and their report on the tragic events in Parkland, Florida. 

“America is once again in a state of shock but can u imagine how they would have reacted if they were subjected to what the Nigerian people have been subjected to by Fulani terrorists on a daily basis.

“America would be in total trauma from which she would never recover. 

“It amazes me that CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, and others have blacked out the genocide that our people are being subjected to by the Fulani terrorists.

“What we are facing is worse than what is going in Mynmar.”

Earlier, on February 11, he sent a gory image to Elombah.com and had written how Fulani terrorists slaughtered and burnt alive a pregnant Christian woman.

The carnage took place during an attack in Dumne, Song LGA, Adamawa state. 

In his words: “I received the picture from CAN this morning and I wept. Pl let the world see it and let them know what is happening to our people in Nigeria!”

Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote:

“I endorse Professor Wole Soyinka’s call for the formation of local militias to defend our people against the Fulani terrorists.

“It is time for us to defend ourselves since the Buhari admin. simply refuses to protect us. We are already at war: it just hasn’t been declared yet.”
