Police to declare manhunt for Sunny Bigman

A landgrabber in Asaba, Delta State, popularly known as Sunny Bigman, is currently on the run, while evading police arrest, after he was caught in an adulterous scandal involving a married woman in Anambra State.

Sunny Bigman, it was learnt, hails from Nsukka in Enugu State, but currently resides in Asaba.

According to information obtained by Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), Sunny took a married woman out to an eatery near Onitsha, Anambra State.

She was later identified as “Mrs. Uche Muokwue”, from Agulu but married to an Umuoji man, all in Anambra State.

Incidentally, though, a passerby, simply identified as Oscar, walked into the eatery to also catch a bite.

Mrs. Muokwue immediately identified Oscar, who happened to be an acquaintance of the husband, Mr. Muokwue.

Upon sighting Oscar, who was seated in a far corner of the eatery perusing his phone, Uche raised alarm.

She claimed that Oscar was recording them, insisting it was for evidence to her husband of her promiscuity.

Upon hearing that, Sunny Bigman swung into action, went over to Oscar, and asked him to hand over his mobile phone to him.

An apparently bewildered Oscar asked him who he was and why he should hand over the phone to him.

But before he could understand what was amiss, the landgrabber summoned an armed policeman.

Investigation revealed that the policeman reportedly came with him all the way from Asaba.

The policeman manhandled Oscar, seized his phone, and handed it over to Sunny, who then perused the mobile device.

When he could not find anything that looks like a recorded video, he surrendered the phone to the owner.

An offended Oscar, however, won’t let go and demanded a simple apology from the “Bigman”, which he defiantly refused to do.

It was at that point that Oscar approached law enforcement agencies for the enforcement of his fundamental human rights.

The police invited Mrs. Uche Muokwue and Sunny Bigman to the Zone 13 police headquarters located at Ukpo in Anambra State.

Mrs. Muokwue went and gave her statement, which corroborated Oscar’s statement to a reasonable degree, as well as police findings.

Policeman as orderly to a landgrabber

Sunny Bigman is, however, nowhere to be found as he failed to honour several police invitations, including via SMS and WhatsApp.

More so, the policeman, who moved around with him as security detail, has also disappeared into thin air.

DDM learnt that the police are perfecting preparations to declare him wanted should he continue to ignore the invitation.

Meanwhile, the scandal has led to the collapse of the marriage between the Muokwues, as the husband has filed for divorce.

This medium has reached out to all affected parties in the scandal to hear their side of the stories.

Mrs. Muokwue has yet to respond to the message sent to WhatsApp on her phone.

Mr. Oscar has responded and narrated in detail what transpired on that fateful day between him and Sunny Bigman.

According to him, he was minding his business, catching his bite when a stranger walked up to him and demanded his mobile phone.

He said that he demanded for his identity and authority, but instead of meeting him halfway, Sunny Bigman launched an attack on him.

The stranger would later invite his “police orderly” who joined in the frenzy to confiscate his phone, manhandling him in the process.

After searching through the phone and fighting nothing “incriminating”, they dropped the phone on the table and left.

On their way out, they were joined by Mrs. Muokwue, whom he just noticed for the first time.

Legal showdown

On his part, when contacted via telephone, Sunny Bigman claimed that he caught the man red-handed recording him.

He then approached him, trying to find out what may have prompted the recording.

He claimed that he asked the young man to delete whatever record he may have made of him.

According to him, the young man complied and deleted the records.

However, he wanted to be sure that any of such records was totally and completely deleted so he asked for the phone.

He, however, kept quiet when confronted with the evidence of the policeman who was identified as his “orderly” and accomplice.

He also claimed that he has made an appearance at the Zone 13 Police Headquarters.

The claim, meanwhile, could not be corroborated by any means, including police sources.

A police personnel member, spoke on condition of anonymity, as he has no right to speak on the matter, meanwhile.

The officer told this medium that the matter would be charged to court as soon as Sunny Bigman shows up.
