The Ballon d’Or awards ceremony will take place on Monday to crown the best player from last season.
The prestigious award, which has been running since 1956, is considered the most coveted individual honor in football.
100 football journalists, one from each country in the top 100 FIFA rankings, submit their top 10 players from a shortlist.
The event will honor the best male and female footballers, young talents, goalkeepers, coaches, and humanitarian contributors in a star-studded celebration.
For the first time in Ballon d’Or history, an equal number of awards will be presented in both the men’s and women’s categories, marking a significant step toward gender parity in global football recognition.
The ceremony will also feature the Socrates Award, celebrating humanitarian efforts by players off the pitch.
The event will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network and streamed on SonyLiv, with fans across the globe eagerly awaiting the announcement of football’s top individual honors.
