Security operatives have reportedly arrested one Bello Turji Gudde, a renowned bandit kingpin.
Turji Gudde, according to reports, is infamously reputed for commanding killings and kidnappings in some states in the North West and North Central Nigeria.
According to security sources, he is one of the most dangerous bandit’s leader terrorizing Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina and parts of Niger Republic.
The source said his gang has killed more than one thousand civilians in areas where he operates.
“He is known to be merciless. He commands one of the biggest gangs among the bandits despite his young age (26 years),” said the source.
Another source recalled that he is “the same demon that Sheikh Ahmad Gumi sat with not too long ago and for whom he pleaded amnesty!”
