Bayelsa Polls: I’m not responsible for your problems, Dickson tells Sylva

Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson has exonerated himself from reports he was partly responsible for the deepening crisis between the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Timipre Sylva and members of the party in the State.

A statement issued on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said the Governor has no hand in Sylva’s rejection by the people as expressed through several media onslaughts against his candidacy, sponsored by aggrieved members of his party, the APC.

According to the statement, Sylva is suffering a backlash from his double dealing, deception, lies, unfulfilled promises to his party men to make them deputy governorship candidate for the December 5 election.

The statement added that, rather than blame Dickson for his woes, he (Sylva) should look inwards to address the crisis he created with his own hands through deceit.
