Beware Of Anselm Njoku ― Joe Igbokwe warns Lagos APC Members

My attention and that of Lagos APC has been drawn to the nefarious activities of one Mr. Anselm Njoku, a member of PDP who is going around and parading himself as the SouthEast Chairman of APC in Lagos. 

It has been reported that this dubious impostor has visited and tried to extort several local governments in Lagos in the process.

The party hierarchies in Lagos and local governments as well as elected officials of the state and local governments have contacted me on this for clarification and I hereby state as follows;

1. There is no post known in APC as Southeast Chairman of APC in Lagos and there is no structure like that.

2. The said Mr. Anselm Njoku is not a member of APC, either in Lagos or anywhere in Nigeria and as such cannot head any amorphous structure that does not exist in APC.

3. The said Mr. Anselm Njoku had been a member of the PDP and was reported to have been actively involved in the sharing and distribution of campaign monies and materials to Igbo in Lagos during the 2015 general election.

4. Mr. Anselm Njoku was reported to have been very active in the various activities of Igbo PDP at the Igbo Unity House, Ajao Estate, Lagos, which formed the operational headquarters of Igbo PDP in Lagos during the 2015 elections.

5. It is alleged that Mr. Anselm Njoku has been evading demands by his fellow Igbo PDP members in Lagos to account for the huge amount that was put under his stewardship during the last election.

6. It is imperative to alert the general public, Lagosians and our party members of this character as he has been severally reported as going around Lagos with the dubious claim meant to dupe and extort his victims.

7. This notice serves to alert the leadership of APC at the ward, local government and state levels in Lagos that Mr. Anselm Njoku is not a member of APC as he has not been officially reported to have left PDP or joined APC.

8. Any person dealing with Mr. Anselm Njoku as the purported Southeast Chairman of APC in Lagos does so at his or her own risk.
