Hon Ikpamezie receiving award from President Imo Youth Elites Okemili

Chief Okemadu, Lolo Oge Okemadu and Okemili President Imo Youth Elites
The Honourable member representing Mbaitoli State Constituency in Imo state House of Assembly, Hon Engr Innocent Ikpamezie and Lolo Ogechukwu Okemadu have bagged prestigious awards from Imo Youth Elites association.
The awards were presented to them during the birthday celebration of Lolo Ogechukwu Okemadu on Wednesday 23rd July 2025 in Owerri.
Speaking after receiving the awards, Hon Innocent Ikpamezie and Lolo Ogechukwu Okemadu thanked the members of Imo Youth Elites for finding them worthy for the prestigious awards.
Before presenting the awards, the Vice President of the Association, Comrade Pst Austin Okoro said both personalities have impacted positively in the lives of the people.
Okoro noted that Hon Ikpamezie facilitated the adoption of the bulk billing system for Afara community and the procurement of a brand new 500KVA transformer mounted at Orie Owerre Afara, among many philanthropic gestures in the society.
In the same vein, Lolo Ogechukwu Okemadu, according to Okoro has empowered many youths and the indigent with scholarship awards and other philanthropic and humanitarian gestures.
Addressing newsmen the Chief celebrant Lolo Okemadu expressed her profound gratitude to God Almighty for adding another year to her age.
She said God helped her to render those serviices and philanthropic activities to the society praying God to grant her long life and prosperity.
Presenting the awards to the recipients, the President of the Association Comrade Emmanuel Okemili said they are awards of honour to the two personalities for.their.contributions to the society.
The event was honoured by dignitaries among whom were Hon Chief Innocent Ikpamezie and his entourage, youths, traditional rulers, President Generals, members of Imo Youth Elites, others.
The event was celebrated with lavished entertainments, cutting of cakes, music and dancing competitions etcetera.
Hon. Engr. Innocent Ikpamezie is a member of the Imo State House of Assembly, representing Mbaitoli State Constituency.
He celebrated his birthday on June 15, 2025, with a grand thanksgiving mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Aladinma, Owerri, followed by a reception at Rock View Hotel.
Hon. Ikpamezie has sponsored several motions, including one for the rehabilitation of technical colleges in Imo State to promote self-reliance and tackle unemployment.
He also moved a bill to domesticate the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act, 2018, in Imo State.
He has distributed Christmas packages to his constituents and engaged with the Council of Mbaitoli Village Heads to strengthen relationships and discuss development initiatives.
Hon. Ikpamezie has received several awards, including “Imo Most Proactive Lawmaker of the Year” and chieftaincy titles such as “Nwachinemere I of Ozu-Omuma” and “Nwachinemere II of Afara.
He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and has worked in various capacities, including as Special Adviser to Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Hon. Ikpamezie has implemented projects in his constituency, including sharing Christmas palliatives and providing support to individuals in need.
