Body of aide to Anambra Commissioner killed by gunmen arrives Onitsha

The body of ABK Offiah, a lawyer and aide to the Anambra Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Aghamba, who was killed by suspected bandits in Edo State, has arrived in Onitsha, Anambra State.

Offiah was shot dead while travelling with Agha Mba and his wife to Abuja for the wedding of governor Soludo’s daughter.

The deceased had celebrated his birthday on August 15, a day before the tragic incident.

The Commissioner and his wife, who were kidnapped during the attack have regained their freedom.

Offiah, from Onitsha, holds the traditional title of Kpajiego and was a prominent youth leader.

His remains were brought back to Onitsha on Sunday, August 18.

A video on social media showed the moment an ambulance arrived Onitsha with Offiah’s corpse amid wailing by residents.
