Boko Haram terrorists have ambushed an Army convoy travelling between Monguno and Maiduguri in Borno State, killing at least twelve soldiers
The incident, which reportedly took place Thursday morning, saw the terrorists seize three gun trucks and rifles from the soldiers, as well as a lump of cash.
The bodies of the soldiers who lost their lives were later taken to a medical centre in Maiduguri.
Apart from the dead, several soldiers were also wounded and received first aid treatment before onward journey to the Maiduguri medical centre.
