The suspect in the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at a Utah university has been taken into custody, US President Donald Trump announced in an interview on Friday.
The suspect is believed to be a 22-year-old Tyler Robinson from Utah.
According to NBC News, a family member of the suspect turned him in to police.
The FBI had offered a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the identification and an arrest.
Authorities said they recovered a “high-powered, bolt-action rifle” used in the shooting from a wooded area.
