BREAKING: Acting CJN Muhammad presides over Supreme Court

The Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria [CJN], Justice Tanko Muhammad Supreme Court has presided over a five-man panel of the court when it resumed sitting on Monday.

Justice Muhammad is discharging his first duty as the CJN since he was sworn in on Friday.

The Acting CJN was sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari following the suspension of the CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen.

Others sitting alongside Justice Muhammad on the panel at the Monday’s sitting are Justices Mary Peter-Odili, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, Amiru Sanusi and Paul Galinje.
