The Abuja Federal High Court, on Monday, presided over by Chief Justice Inyang Ekwo, struck out an application filed by the Federal government to extradite the embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, to the United States of America to face trial over his involvement with a notorious internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, fondly known as Hushpuppi.
Justice Ekwo, who delivered the judgement, explained that the extradition application FG filed via the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, SAN, was incompetent and unmerited.
