Bisola Kola-Daisi, the first daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is dead.
She died at the age of 44 after a brief illness in the United Kingdom.
Bisola was a respected businesswoman and philanthropist, known for her significant contributions to Nigeria’s retail and luxury fashion industry.
She served as the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a prominent retail and wholesale chain, and was the founder of Florence H. Luxury boutique, a brand that solidified her influence in the high-end fashion market.
She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, an Ibadan-born politician and bank executive, with whom she had three children.
Bisola death was disclosed in a social media post by her grieving husband.
He wrote, “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife; she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children”
Beyond business, Bisola also played a role in governance, serving as a special adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
