BREAKING: DG of NIA, Abubakar resigns from Tinubu’s govt

Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Malam Ahmed Rufa’i

All may not be well with President Bola Tinubu’s administration as the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Mr Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, on Saturday tendered his resignation.

Rufai Abubakar submitted his resignation letter to President Tinubu on Saturday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Though, no reason was given for his sudden decision to bow out of the APC government.
