Tension appears to be building up as the federal government has suddenly canceled the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting ritually done on Monday afternoon.
This is coming after young Nigerians protesting over economic hardship vowed not to back down despite appeal by president Bola Tinubu during his nationwide broadcast to stop protests and create room for dialogue.
The Federal Executive Council scheduled to deliberate the nationwide hunger protests was abruptly cancelled without formal notice, forcing ministers who had converged at the Council Chambers in the Presidential Villa to take their leave immediately.
