The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), appears to be completely heading to golgotha as the crisis tearing the party apart got very worst on Wednesday as governor Nyesom Wike’s team reportedly pulled out of the campaign Council of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the party.

This is coming on the heels of a meeting early on Wednesday morning in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Newsband gathered that members of Wike’s team vowed not to play any role in Atiku’s campaign ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The aggrieved group insisted that the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, must resign from his position before they can rescind their decision.

Recall that Wike had called for Ayu’s resignation following the outcome of the party’s presidential primary won by Atiku.
