BREAKING: Gunmen kidnap former Bauchi lawmaker

A band of unknown gunmen have kidnapped a former member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abdulmumuni Ningi.

According to available reports, the heavily armed gunmen stormed his house early hours of Thursday and took him away.

The Bauchi State Police Force Command PRO, DSP Ahmed Wakili, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Friday,

DSP Wakili stated that Ningi’s abductors, numbering four, arrived in a gold coloured car.

According to him, indications were that they trailed him to his house around the BSADP area at Isa Yuguda Guest House.

The kidnappers then seized him and drove away with him in their car.

His whereabouts so far remain unknown as the abductors are yet to make any demand.
