Breaking: I Did Not Defect To PDP — Rabiu Kwankwaso


Ex-Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso has reportedly abandoned All Progressives Congress [APC] for Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] on Tuesday.

The former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has refuted reports that he has dumped the All Progressives Congress [APC] for the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP].

Senator Kwankwaso denied the report in a statement issued on Tuesday and made available to Elombah.com.

In the statement signed by Hon. Saifullahi Hassan, he said:

“This is to dispel the fake news going around even in some main stream media that our Amiable and Dynamic Leader Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“This news as usual is emanating from the quarters of political detractors. 

“Please ignore this messages.

“Should there be a major political decision(s) in the aspirations of our leader, you will be duly informed through the appropriate channels.

Dailypost had reported that Kwankwaso defected with 10 Kano State lawmakers, saying that his defection may not be unconnected with his ordeals in the APC.
